In support of "The Rock", TAG Racing International will be presenting the race winners of TAG Jr., TAG Senior and TAG Masters each and entry to the 6th annual TAG World Championships that will take place at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indianapolis October 1,2 & 3, 2010.

4.2.2010 Jim Russell Memorial IAME Championship Cup

The inaugural Jim Russell Memorial IAME Championship Cup race event is to take place May 7, 8 and 9, 2010 at New Castle Motorsport Park. The event is open to only IAME-owners and will include 7 classes in total Cadet, Junior-2, Junior, Senior, Masters, KF3 andKF2.

Russell Karting and IAME wish to welcome all the owners to compete in this special event. The winner of the Senior class will receive an all-expense paid trip to compete in the Brunno Granna International Trophy event to take place at Circuit International de Lavelanet at the foot of the Pyrennes Mountains in Southern France on June 12 & 13, 2010.

Jim Russell, Jr, said: “This is going to be a great event. We are proud to partner with IAME as well as Dunlop. I am particularly pleased to have TAG International's participation in planning and executing this event, and what karter wouldn't want to win this event and race in France?” The event is being held at New Castle Motorsports Park is a state of the art karting facility with a 1 mile road course that features a 950 foot back straight, multiple layouts, AMB Scoring System, 28' wide track width, paved pit roads and grid area.

TAG Racing International is also releasing the event logo which is based on the actual Jim Russell Memorial IAME Championship Cup. The beautiful trophy will be a treasure in any racers collection.

This event is sanctioned by TAG Racing International and is an official Qualifier for “The 2010 TAG World Championships”.

The Sixth Edition Of "The TAG Worlds" Moves To Indy's New Castle Motorsports Park

TAG Racing International today announced that the 6th Annual TAG World Championships will take place at New Castle Motorsport Park in Indianapolis. The dates have been set for October 1, 2 and 3rd, 2010.

Dave Larson, President of the sanctioning body said:
"We are proud to be able to produce this year's TAG Worlds at The Dismore's wonderful facility at New Castle. This is an excellent, central-US location and the facility is easily one of the best in North America so I am looking forward to a great race weekend."

New Castle Motorsports Park is a state-of-the-art facility featuring a 1-mile road course with a 950-foot back straight and a 28-foot wide track surface. New Castle also features paved pit roads and grid area, over 60 Rental Garages, 2000 square foot onsite kart parts shop, trackside restaurant, The Racer's Grill and the newly opened second floor Champions Club observation deck.

The 6th TAG World Championships will be open to all TAG Racing International and TAG USA members. Karters wishing to register with TAG may go to www.tagracing.net to register online. The Top Ten TAG Members of a qualifying series will receive a reduced entry fee for the TAG Worlds.
