TAG USATM - NEWSMarch 8, 2006
Effective Immediately We have retested engines and re-evaluated all aspects of the program, which includes many hours of track time as well as shop time. The Comer KWE60 will have a new intake manifold. This manifold will have a straight bore with an inside Dia. hole of 20.5mm / 0.807". This is the same intake that was supplied with the engine first submitted for approval. Back to back track testing was completed this past weekend to confirm this manifold change. The weights have reverted back to the original intended weight structure as planned for the 2006 Racing Season.
"Cadet-I" - to be run at 240 lbs.
"Cadet-II" - to be run at 250 lbs. TAGTM Racing International is planning to separate engines into two separate classes; "Cadet-I" and "Cadet-II". The classes may be run separately or run together and scored separately - this will be the choice of the Race Director, Club or Organization. The intended class structure is as follows:
"Cadet-I" - to be run at 240 lbs.
"Cadet-II" - to be run at 250 lbs. "Cadet-II" will be set up to be the same as FIA approved. More information regarding the "Cadet-II" class will be released very soon. This new class structure will be followed at the 2006 TAGTM World Championships.
