TAGTM USA - NEWS
For Immediate Release: Effective October 23, 2006
The 2nd Annual TAGTM World Championships were held at NCMP with great success. This year we announced two new classes, the TAGTM 4-Stroke and the new TAGTM Shifter program. The new TAGTM 4-Stroke class was run at this years event with huge success. We had 9 drivers come test the new engines and put on a very good show. AJ Noud was the pole sitter and the feature winner.
Sam Walls also came with AJ and all drivers were very excited about driving the TAGTM 4-Strokes, after the first track session both commented on just how much fun they were and pledged not to give them up for the entire weekend. Sam commented that it was huge fun.
At the conclusion to the race, the overwhelming desire to drive the new engines was great and I think they were still out on the track in the dark. You couldn't see them, but they sounded great! Contact LLC Engines 4 Racing at (303) 833-0474 for information.
The new TAGTM Shifter class fielded lots of questions and again has people interested in the class. TM is the first engine to be out and after lengthy testing and running under race conditions looks to be a very good engine.
TAGTM Racing International and TAGTM USA will be announcing other manufacturers and 2007 should be a good proving year for the new class. As stated before, Italian Motors Claudio Valiante said, "We are excited to have the TM K9BES included in the TAGTM Racing International program. It really is a logical progression for the TAGTM format and I'm sure it will enhance the programs availability to all level of drivers." He went on to say, "The engine has been designed to have the same reliability and longevity characteristics that TAGTM engines have become known for. We feel this user friendly package will increase participation at TAGTM events and allows for a cost effective way for people to run a shifter program." The new TAGTM Shifter program is in no way intended to replace and/or change the ever growing Stock Moto class.
The 2007 rules will include both new classes and also new updates to current engines. Contact information for the TM should be directed to Italian Motors at (604) 253-4248.
The 2007 rules are being worked on and should be out soon. Check back often as changes will be posted as they become available.
